Voicely activates only when enabled by the user. It does not record or process audio when turned off. All audio processing is conducted locally using the browser's native speech-to-text capabilities, specifically through Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge. We do not transmit dictated audio or transcribed text to external servers, including Dictanote's servers. The extension does not store dictated audio or transcribed text either locally or remotely.
To enhance functionality, we collect data about the domains where Voicely is used and its performance success rates via Mixpanel. We use this information for improving coverage and generating domain-level usage statistics. This information is not shared with any third parties.
Users can create an account for storing settings and voice commands. For Voicely Plus members, we securely store usernames, email addresses, passwords, and transaction histories on Dictanote's servers. However, sensitive payment information like credit card numbers and billing addresses are not stored on our servers. This information is processed solely through Stripe, our billing provider.
Users have the right to access, correct, delete, or transfer their personal data. Requests can be made via support@getvoicely.com. Users have the right to withdraw consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions.
We implement robust security measures to protect user data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
